Medical Sabi@s are the heart of our Medical Operations team, these doctors keep the wheels rolling on our clinical services and keep our Soci@s close to us. The Medical Sabi@ is an empathetic and enthusiastic person, they understand well our Soci@s’ medical and service needs and are able to coordinate the best care and experience for them.
What you’ll do
- The role is very dynamic and requires an ability to change activities swiftly, this makes every day unique and a guarantee that you’ll never be bored, some of the main activities are:
- Talk to our potential Soci@s and make subscription decisions to ensure we can provide the best possible health plan and terms for them
- Analyze medical claims and decide which are covered under our medical plan
- Coordinate urgent care and complex procedures such as surgeries to ensure that doctors, Soci@s, and providers have all the resources needed for the best outcomes
- Onboard new doctors onto Sofía and provide continuous support so that they have the best possible experience working with us
- Participate in the design of new products and processes using your medical knowledge as well as the experience you gain day to day in your job
- Collaborate on writing medical articles from our learnings as medical providers
- Option 1: Monday to Friday (23:00 -07:00)
- Option 2: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday (07:00 - 15:00) | Friday & Saturday (23:00 - 07:00).
What we’re looking for
- Highly motivated individuals with intellectual curiosity, drive, and a passion for learning
- Great team players that are empathetic and devoted to great patient care
- General doctor (médico general) near the end of your degree (can be in servicio social) or recent graduate (less than 1 year)
- Preparing for the next step in your professional career (e.g. studying for ENARM, preparing for international programs, enrolled in a master's degree)
